Pune: Over 50 talented students from government schools across nine Indian states have qualified to represent India at the Robotex International 2025 in Estonia, following their remarkable performance at the Robotex India National Championship 2025 held at MIT-ADT University, Pune.
The Robotex International 2025 championship witnessed participation from over 5,000 students across 16 states, with nearly half of them from rural, tribal, and government schools.
More than 500 robots were showcased across categories such as Girls Firefighting, Line Follower, Entrepreneurship Challenge, Mini Sumo, and Fork Race.

Participants also explored solutions to real-world challenges in agriculture, healthcare, disaster management, and environmental conservation.
Young innovators from Phaltan, Aurangabad, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Ladakh, New Delhi, Dehradun, Pune, Bengaluru, and Chennai demonstrated how technology can drive social transformation.
This achievement was made possible through CSR support from initiatives like STL RoboEdge Program, BMC India Girls Who Build Robots, ZS India, Globant India, WNS Cares Foundation, BNY Mellon, EY Foundation, and FICCI FLO Pune.
Payal Rajpal, Director of Robotex India, highlighted, “The success of these students reflects not only their skills but also their determination to reach global levels from remote villages and pursue the dream of equality.”

Robotex International 2025: Celebrating 25th Edition
To date, Robotex India has trained over 1.5 million students, established 500 Robotics-AI labs across India, and guided more than 7,000 government school teachers.
The Robotex International 2025 in Estonia, celebrating its 25th edition, is the world’s largest robotics festival. Indian students’ participation among competitors from over 75 countries underscores a moment of national pride.
